The low-rider front bicycle rack (aluminum) boasts an impressive load capacity of 15 kg, making it the choice of bicycle travelers touring the roads and wilderness around the world for years.
If we use the clamps included in the set as the lower mount for the rack, the rack will be compatible with a fork leg diameter of 25-50 mm. The upper mounting system using the V-brake mount provides exceptional structural rigidity. In principle, V-brakes themselves are not necessary to mount the rack, but pivots (holes) for mounting these brakes. So if your bike has disc brakes, but also has unused mounting holes for V-brakes, you will be able to install our front bike rack according to the instructions without any problems.
An alternative for bikes whose forks do not have the above pivots is DIY method, which is described in this text.
This rack can also be mounted to forks that have threaded holes in the side plane. You can then use them to screw the rack directly to the fork instead of the mounting accessories that we include as standard in the set for this rack.
