The tension strap is an element of the Crosso mounting system, which protects the pannier from falling off the rack.
We have created a new version of the tension strap with a hook made of stainless steel wire with a diameter of 2.5 mm. A traditional hook made of galvanized steel sheet required an eyelet in the rack with a width of at least 15 mm. The wire hook is only 8mm wide, so it can also be used with racks with a narrower eyelet.
This tension strap is compatible with all models of panniers with the Crosso mounting system.
The tension strap of the Crosso mounting system can be attached to the pannier without the use of any tools by weaving it into the adjustment buckle to which the classic steel hook was previously attached.
