Panniers with the Crosso mounting system require an eyelet at the bottom of the rack for tension lock installation. If your rack does not have one, all you need is this adapter.
Another possibility offered by the adapter is lowering the height of the Crosso rack. After replacing the standard mounting plate with the adapter, the height of the rack will be reduced by 20 mm.
This will lower the center of gravity of the loaded bicycle, which is desirable for improving riding quality.
